They have a fairly mild, nutty flavour but pack a punch in terms of nutrition. It is is high in protein, approximately 30% protein. Hemp seed is considered a complete protein because it contains all the essential amino acids. Together with omega-6, omega-3 and various other minerals and vitamins mean that organic hemp seeds will compliment any diet, but in particular anyone following a plant-based diet.
